Sudiegirl sez: Why is it that guys get caught doing stuff like this more than women? Maybe I'm being off-base and inadvertently sexist but it seems like guys get nailed for more stuff like public exposure, doing stuff with animals, etc. I know there are women out there that do weird stuff too (like everyone's favorite middle school teacher Debra LeFave) but COME ON! This is beyond the pale. Or the feedbag, as the case may be. Read on...

Man Pleads Guilty in Horse-Sex Case

SEATTLE - A man has pleaded guilty to trespassing in connection with a fatal horse-sex case. (Oh boy...I can't believe I missed this on the evening news...)

James Michael Tait, 54, of Enumclaw, was accused of entering a barn without the owner's permission. Tait admitted to officers that he entered a neighboring barn last July with friend Kenneth Pinyan to have sex with a horse, charging papers said. ("Willlllbur...")

Tait was videotaping the episode when Pinyan suffered internal injuries that led to his death.
(The depraved part of me wants to know how the injuries were received, but the practical part of me feels that some things are better left unsaid. And only a true friend would capture the whole thing on video, right?)

Tait pleaded guilty Tuesday and was given a one-year suspended sentence, a $300 fine, and ordered to perform eight hours of community service and have no contact with the neighbors.
(Or the neighbors' livestock.)

The prosecutor's office said no animal cruelty charges were filed because there was no evidence of injury to the horses.
(Too bad they can't do therapy on the horses, but maybe "horse sense" gets in the way of all that.)
