Well, isn't that annoying!

My little turkey pot pies...I am so sorry your favorite bipolar redhead has been neglectful of your entertainment. It's just that the first week or so on the job kind of warps the brain, and then after that all should be normal. Key word - "SHOULD".

I like the place I work, and the people have been friendly and helpful. I'm trying really hard to curb my surf habits, but it is hard. I guess I should just keep in mind that I'm working in the IT department and they're gonna find out if I'm doing stuff I shouldn't be, so I'd better just knock it the hell off. AAAGGGHHH. I wish I weren't so damned attached to the 'Net...I mean, come on! How many websites are there devoted to Louis Prima or the Muppets? Huh? Uh...well...let's just say I don't need to know, especially on work time. So please keep me in your good vibes files as far as taming the internet beastie within myself during work hours. OK? OK. Good...so we have an understanding.

Anyway, more rain is ahead at least for tomorrow. Yuk. OH well...that's what happens sometimes. I just can't believe a third hurricane is hitting so soon. Man. And to name it after one of my favorite cartoon characters is just cruel. Hmmph.

I do want to give a shout-out to my brother-in-law, Chip. He bravely stepped into the breach when my 13-year-old niece needed help of the fashion kind. She had to wear a white blouse for a concert this week, and the blouse she had on was sheer enough that if the light hit it, you could see her bra. Courtney is a pretty modest kid, and she didn't want her goodies showing, so Chip did everything he could to help her out. He got one of his white t-shirts out for her to wear, but you could see both collars. Finally, he had to resort to calling my mom and asking, quote, "Do you have one of those things you wear under your shirt?" Bless his heart...he is a male, and an only child on top of that so no sisters to draw on for reference. Thank God, Mom saved the day with one of her camisoles, and Courtney's goodies were safe from prying eyes. So Chip, here's an "atta-boy" pat on the back from me. It's a bitch to be an in-law in this family, and you're doing the very best you can, taking care of my nieces and nephew. Thank you very much.

I don't have the proper mood to pick on stupid celebrities today, so I think I'll wait till the bloomin' weekend.

Smooches,
Sudiegirl
