Yes, I am happy. I am pretty happy right now, to be honest.

Stevie Wonder ( I actually quoted him in the eulogy I wrote about Grandpa DuVall)
peanut butter (esp. on top of a Chocolate Fudge pop-tart fresh from the toaster)
Chubby Hubby Ice Cream
old Steve Martin routines (esp. "Let's Repeat the Non-Conformist's Oath!" CLASSIC)
My mom, dad and sister
Saganaki (I approve of a culture that puts goat cheese in a crust, pours cooking sherry on it and lights it on fire. Huzzah!)
Other funny blogs (like The Monkey Cage...again, highly recommended)
pizza (especially with ham, pineapple and double cheese)
That first swig of Diet Pepsi in the morning as it jolts my brain into wakefulness

The list above is just a sample. I just don't worry about things as much as I used to, or at least I don't tell as many people about how worried I am. I just write about it and hope for the best.

I'm happy, also, that you all read this and haven't reported me to the FCC yet. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.
