Last blog entry of the day, containing REAL writing, not just snotty blurbs

HI folks! Yes, one more entry for the day...it's been a pretty average day here at Rancho Sudiegirl. I had a job interview this afternoon, and I feel vaguely optimistic about it. However, I don't normally ask these things, but if whoever reads this could send good vibes my way in the form of prayer, tribal rituals, etc., I'd really appreciate it. Much as I'd like the job in DC to become permanent, it won't be so for another few months and no insurance from the temp company that we get paid by only adds to the fun. So I'm really hoping for this job, and I will keep you posted on how it turns out, how I plan to monitor my BP so it doesn't screw up one more good thing in my life, etc.

In other news, the National Zoo has determined that the 3-week old panda cub is indeed a little boy. I'm not sure how they determined it...something tells me it was not because it had a penchant for Star Wars figurines or Hot Wheels. (Yes, I know I'm being sexist...if you have a problem, make a comment!) They had a picture of mommy and baby panda on the cover of today's Washington Post Express, and it was so cute! Things that make you go, "awwwww", most definitely.

In celebrity news, Jennifer Aniston has finally spoken out about the whole "Brangelina" thing. You know, I think she's handled this rather well, and it's sad that the whole thing happened in the first place because they do make a stunning couple. Whether or not she's with Vince Vaughn for real and not just in the tabloids remains to be seen, but it isn't any of my business anyway!

Since I've been learning more about how to increase my blog traffic and all that, I just want to say I've seen some really fun blogs out there! Also, I would like to thank people that come to visit me, be they regular or new folks. Everyone's welcome at Rancho Sudiegirl! Fritos and cheese for all! (Oh, that's sad, isn't it?)

Anyway, I'm also still rejoicing over the whole Atkins empire crash thing, and I only hope that people that work for Atkins aren't displaced after this. I'm not totally cold-hearted, you know?
