(Sudiegirl's note...I am well acquainted with male baldness, be it pattern or otherwise. I like a man with a nice, round, bald head if they're gonna be bald. If they're lumpy and bumpy, no dice. So, really, if this man in question is thinking like a regular guy, the rationale makes sense..."if I get a toupee, it will improve my state of mind and therefore, I will score with whoever I prefer, and I will be able to fulfill their every desire because there will be no problem with my potency because I will be so psyched about myself..." However, please keep in mind that not all insurance companies agree with this. The usual snarky comments are enclosed, and please keep in mind that the picture to the left was obtained from swamp-city.com's archives. As Bartles & Jaymes would say, "Thank you for your support." And now, let the snottiness begin!)
Man wants hair, but state doesn't need 'toupee' (And you thought my puns were bad!)

DRESDEN, Germany (Reuters) - Bald men in Germany have no entitlement to state support for toupees, a court ruled Wednesday. (What about Viagra? Is that supported? Just wonderin'.)
Throwing out a legal challenge by a bald 46-year-old man, the court said the state was not discriminating against men even though health insurance covers the cost of wigs for women. (Please riddle me this, Batman...in the US, does health insurance cover the cost of wigs for women? I know it is a necessity for some for various reasons, and it can be quite expensive and frustrating. Also, I know when my dad went through chemo, he lost his eyebrows and eyelashes. Do they cover any kind of stuff for that?)
"In contrast to women, the involuntary loss of hair among men is common and accepted as nothing out of the ordinary," the court ruled, rejecting the suit from the man who said he suffered because of his baldness. (Please read introduction and theory about male suffering due to baldness.)
He filed the suit when the state health insurance system refused his claim for a 440 euro ($530) toupee. (WOW! Couldn't he just go to a craft store and get some fake fur? It seems like that's what most toupees look like anyway...)
"The state health insurance only has to pay for hair replacement when a bald head disfigures a person so severely that they would be ostracized from public life," the court added. "That is not the case with men." (Maybe not men in general, but this one in particular?)
Sudiegirl's final opinion?
Well, sometimes the best cure is...pardon me..."the hair of the dog".
Woof.
Bye for now...
