Free publicity.

Not always a bad thing.

Just ask Kathy Griffin, recipient of free publicity courtesy of a religious group that spent $90K on a full page ad in a major newspaper denouncing her for telling a certain son of a higher being to "suck it".

Now people know her name. Not that people didn't know it before, mind you, but they KNOW IT know it now.

I get free publicity too...it's great. So what if they stay online for zero seconds? It's still a hit, and I get plenty of people who stay and enjoy what Rancho Sudiegirl has to offer.

I guess I shouldn't get so uptight about life in the blogosphere if the principle of "free publicity" can benefit me. Right?
