click here to read an insightful interview of a prospective American Idol contestant...

My "Little Green Friend" interviewed one of his friends about the whole "American Idol" debacle - er, experience. Click on the title to read the article in its entirety. Another column he wrote about "AI" is here.

Judging from the amount of comments I received when I wrote about "Mr. Salt and Pepper", there's no middle ground about this lovely testament to American choice. Never mind war, pestilence, inflation, price gouging at the gas pumps, etc...the biggest debates can be had about AI.

Man oh man. What a sad state of affairs THAT is. Especially for me, since I hate the stupid concept in the first place yet I CAN'T SHUT UP ABOUT IT!! I need to get out more.

Well...hmm...it's been a quiet holiday weekend here at Rancho Sudiegirl. It's very warm for end of May around here. Thank GOD the a/c is working - no brownouts, please, we're OK. I thought about my dad a bit today, and hope he's doing well up at the pearly gates. I miss him, but time is slowly healing the pain. Sometimes VERY slowly. Oh well...that's the way of mourning, is it not?

Finally, I have truly discovered YouTube, and to annoy my readers, I'd like to insert this little gem from the Osmonds - "Crazy Horses". Note how Donny (my fave) is really getting into the electric keyboard part of the tune...and you know what? They're really good. It blew my mind.
If you can't get the player to work, go here.

Have fun, my little tuna sandwiches!
