Oprah's favorite stuff vs. Sudiegirl's "Stuff I Cannot Possibly Live Without"...a thoroughly unbiased (HA!) comparison

Well, good morning my little pumpkin tarts! And Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.

I thought I would start my Thanksgiving with that great example to all personkind...Oprah Winfrey. In some ways, I really do admire Oprah. She is a very savvy businesswoman, a philanthrophist, very influencial in the entertainment world, and moreover, she can increase sales of a book, DVD, or practically anything she gushes over quicker than you can say, "Where's Steadman Graham these days?"

Recently, the buzz about Oprah has centered on Oprah's "20 Favorite Things". Now, I've read some books from Oprah's Book Club and I saw "The Color Purple" and was quite saddened when nobody from that film won an Oscar. However, you have to admit that some of these things on her list are a bit...well...PRICEY. So in the interest of economy and giving folks a choice, I'm offering my own list of "Sudiegirl's Stuff I Cannot Live Without". (NOTE TO READERS: I was advised by Crazy Like a Fox that the links don't work...so if you want to check out Oprah's list, go to www.oprah.com and click on the appropriate link. The Sudiegirl choices in this entry are from Walmart, Target, LaneBryant Catalogue, and the Sterzings website. Enjoy!)

1. Philip Stein Teslar Diamond Watch
Sudiegirl sez: OK, when the words "Neiman Marcus" are mentioned with any item, you can automatically assume that you'll have to take out a loan just to buy a toothbrush. As far as watches go, in my old age, I prefer a watch I can read in the middle of the night with one eye while my wrist is millimeters from said eye. That's why Sudiegirl recommends this item instead...
