Sudie's Sunday...happy girl am I

Greetings, my little pieces of flounder, lightly sautéed!

It’s the end of another weekend, and D and I went to the Baltimore Aquarium. I was hoping to see aquatic friends not unlike Opus, but sadly I had to be happy with puffins and terns of some sort. Beyond that, it was sharks, manta rays, sting rays, fish, eels, crustaceans…you know the scene. It was good to get out and something D had been wanting to do for some time so there ya go.

Last night was another small but successful “St. Nick’s at the Flicks”, and we watched “The Incredibles”. That’ s a movie that gets better every time I see it. Why? Because it’s just so damned smart! I mean, where else can you see references to Jonny Quest, comic book heroes and Walt Disney’s great “Nine Old Men” animator? Nowheres, I tells ya…nowheres. We had a lot of fun, healthy discussion and I was back home by 10:30. What more could a wimp-ass like me hope for?

Tomorrow starts the first full (more or less) week in my new temp assignment with Manpower (kiss their feet gladly do I). I like it, and they validate my parking. YAY! Not too shabby, I must say.

I’m sorry about no weird news or entertainment snarkiness today…I’m just happy and relaxed. I’ll start being bitter again later.
