This and that...

Well, it's a new week, and on Wednesday I'm one step closer to menopause. Yes, your favorite redhead turns 36 on Wednesday and may commemorate the occasion by going to Ash Wednesday services at church if she doesn't have a senior moment and forgets.

On that note...just this and that...

* I'm really glad to be back in DC, even amidst the hub-bub at work and home, as well as extra-curriculars. The weather is gorgeous this week (sorry to my readers in sub-arctic temps, but I can't help but feel happy about it...

* I think I'm the only person on earth who didn't watch the Super Bowl. Is anyone out there like me? Please advise...

* I'm starting to actually (gasp) admire Wayne Newton as a performer. Let's face it...he can play 11 instruments, and has a bathroom in his home bigger than my entire apartment. I only wish I could aspire to such versatility and wealth.

* However, my second point as it relates to both Wayne and Donald Trump, as well as many other older men...WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN the whole "older man/younger woman" theory? I know I have asked several times, but no-one has explained it in a manner that I can comprehend. I have no desire to change Depends in my immediate future, and I'm sure most of my female counterparts don't either, so please save us from a fate worse than death and enlighten us to the warning signs of these May/December romances so we can RUN AWAY!!!!

* Found out another old boyfriend is engaged this week...this makes only 3 that are gay, plus one that dodges child support payments, one that may or may not be in a mental hospital, a chemist, an engineer, and 2 in jail. What a track record...

Well, on that note, I'd better let y'all go for now.
